Marin County real estate litigation firm is seeking a legal secretary/paralegal with litigation experience to provide support for its growing firm. This individual will be responsible for trial and hearing support tasks, document management, drafting a variety of motions, e-filing, subpoenas and trial preparation. Experience with Landlord Tenant law is a plus.

Job Duties and Expectations:

• Prepare for trials: Organize exhibits, files and all other supporting documents, coordinate trial set-up and logistics, and assist attorneys in the courtroom.
• Discovery: Organize documents, review, analyze and summarize discovery responses, and respond to and prepare discovery requests. Prepare document subpoenas to third parties.
• Draft communications and court pleadings.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments for attorneys.
• Handle electronic presentation of exhibits.
• Familiarity with court procedures.
• Strong analytical problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Experience working in a law office (3+ years preferred).
