Coneco Engineers & Scientists is a consulting firm specializing in environmental management, civil engineering, ecological permitting, and land surveying. Coneco’s environmental division maintains contracts with diverse and well-known local and national companies to provide a wide range of services in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
Coneco Engineers & Scientists is currently seeking experienced senior-level Environmental Professionals in the Hartford, Connecticut area with a proven track record. The candidate(s) must be self-starting with a Licensed Environmental Professional certificate and an existing client base.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a diversity of environmental assessment and remediation projects.
Perform ASTM-compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessments & Phase II Investigations.
Data analysis and interpretation to determine the next course of action.
Review site plans, sampling plans, and other figures.
Prepare and/or review technical and regulatory reports for submittal to clients and state/federal agencies.
Communicate with clients and subcontractors as needed.
Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with subcontractors, clients, and co-workers.
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience
B.S. in Environmental Science/Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, Biology, Natural Resource Management, or a related course of study.
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training is a plus but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Capability to function both independently and on a team.
Self-motivated, must be willing to work independently to solve problems.
Valid driver’s license.
Professional licensure as a Licensed Environmental Professional with the State of Connecticut.
