Novopharm Pharmacy, LLC is seeking a full time pharmacist for our Port Orange location. Novopharm is an independently owned, long-term care pharmacy servicing facility partners for over 10 years. Our closed-door location offers no retail pharmacy services, allowing for a distraction free work environment. Our main location is located Tampa with satellite locations in West Palm Beach and this new location in Port Orange.

As one of our Staff Pharmacist, you have a critical role at the forefront of delivering exceptional service to our long-term care facility partners as well as authentic care for our partner community residents. In addition to supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, you are accountable for several operational functions including:

• Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration. Makes recommendations for therapy changes to the physician and facility staff as appropriate
• Patient/Resident Safety
• Pharmacy Professional Practice
• Regulatory/HIPAA Requirements
• Quality Assurance
• Customer Service for external clients as well as our valued staff of technicians
• Workflow Management
• Providing guidance to data entry and fill technicians
• Accepting and resolving phone calls from facility partners, residents and providers pertaining to pharmacist related inquiries
• Ensure accurate entry of orders Maintain security of the pharmacy Adhere to required delivery schedules Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy

Pay Range:

$55.00 to $57.00 per hour based on experience

Required Qualifications:

Active Pharmacy License in the state of Florida

Not on ANY Excluded Parties List including DEA, Florida Board of Pharmacy, or OIG

No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances

Ability to work flexible hours, which may include up to 7:00 pm, Saturday, and holidays (based on a rotation shared between pharmacist)

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge or previous experience in a long-term care pharmacy setting

Knowledge or previous experience with Transaction Data Systems RX30 and/or Frameworks LTC

Qualified to administer vaccinations through an accredited provider and possible travel to vaccine clinics located within same day driving distance using pharmacy provided transportation.
