Are you a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual with Receptionist experience looking to join a friendly, professional, & supportive medical practice? Calvert Internal Medicine Group, an extensive multi-specialty practice is looking for a full-time evening Receptionist to join our team.

This position will be primarily based in our Prince Frederick office and will have a primary schedule of Monday-Thursday, 11 am-7 pm, Friday 9a-5p with rotating Saturday mornings. Our Receptionist team ensures our patients have a positive experience in our offices.

Accountabilities.

• Greets all patients in a warm and friendly manner.
• Answers patient calls and addresses their questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Practices proper phone etiquette when speaking with patients, providers, co-workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Manages and reviews daily office schedules for providers.
• Schedules patients for various types of appointments
• Checks patients in & out from appointments
• Takes messages for providers from patients & sends to provider timely.
• Reconciles money collected at the end of the day.
• Reviews and responds to messages and emails daily.
• Checks fax folders and moves items to the correct patient chart or another fax folder as appropriate.
• Handles patients pick up requests.
• Assists patients with using our self-check-in Kiosk tele-health visits, and patient portal as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• HS or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of previous related experience preferred.
• Strong communication, active listening, time management, attention to detail, organizational, and multi-tasking skills a must.
• Previous experience with Medent and/or Electronic Medical Record experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
