We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Podiatry Team. The Medical Scribe is an integral part of the Podiatry Team and is responsible for transcribing all notes related to patient evaluations and surgery, as well as logging all information in the computer system. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for creating a cohesive team environment through strong interpersonal skills and communication. This position is essential to the company's success, so we're looking for someone who is willing to take on a heavy workload, is highly organized and detail-oriented, and has exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Record patient history and understand the doctor's diagnosis.
• Take notes of the visit.
• Record medication orders, including dosage and frequency.
• Complete paperwork for the visit.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology.
• Know how to contact physician's office staff.
• Answer phone calls and messages.
• Change bandages.
• Assist with general tasks as assigned by administrative staff.
• Know how to contact emergency personnel in case of an emergency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
