4 days a week REMOTE and 1 day On-Site work at TSI, 6500 S. McArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73169

POSITION START DATE: Immediate

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for creating visual concepts using computer software or by hand that translate customer requirements into visually engaging and innovative solutions for wide range of customer content, publications, promotional materials, briefings, interactive/multimedia, illustrations, and experiential graphics. Provide technical support in specialized performance areas including materials and website design, editing, updating and general changes.

ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and prepare work to be accomplished by ensuring understanding of customer’s need, brand characteristics and attributes
• Conceptualize complex information and present in a clear and easily understandable design for customer documents, presentations and briefs, printed marketing and communications materials, and websites
• Ensure page layout of all digital and physical material i.e., forms, newsletters, brochures, flyers, animated graphics, logos, event programs, pamphlets, annual reports, and announcements consistent with customer requirements; collaborate with Senior Graphic Developer or managers as needed
• Ensure overall style or tone, type, font size, color and line length of headlines, headings and text for web sites desired for each project; collaborate with Senior Graphic Developer or other managers as needed
• Create images such as illustrations, graphics, photographs, animation or charts and graphs
• Prepare and deliver communications and marketing products, including fact sheets, infographics, presentations and visual aids, interactive PDFs, progress reports and web elements in accordance with design specifications, style guide and documented user interfaces
• Perform word test to ensure the customer’s desired message and image is conveyed to the intended audience
• Explore and develop new ideas/solutions/products
• Create new website templates, custom page layouts, UI elements of various widgets/modules

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Candidate MUST have at least:

• 2 years of demonstrated experience as a multimedia developer or graphic designer
• 2 years of experience using digital technology and editing software, primarily Adobe Products Creative Cloud (or Creative Suite)
• 2 years of experience in Microsoft Products, primarily in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of the principles design and typography
• Familiar with responsive web design concepts
• Ability to create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate customers
• Ability to develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines and reports
• Ability to transform statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams (though the use of images, text, and color) which can make complex ideas more accessible
• Working knowledge of HTML 5 and SQL
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Publisher
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products to collect metrics, conduct data analysis, and present information
• Ability to transform statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams (though the use of images, text, and color) which can make complex ideas more accessible

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree with courses in the following fields: multimedia design, graphic design, instructional design, or education OR any field with 5 years of direct experience as a multimedia or graphic designer.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level II or have had a previous Security Clearance.
