POSITION SUMMARY

The NPO Centric Services Manager is an important liaison between NPO Centric/Regional Access Project Foundation and the nonprofits we serve. Reporting to the NPO Centric Director, the Services Manager will develop processes, work directly with nonprofits and consultants, coordinate one-on-one service delivery and workshops, perform outreach to the nonprofit community throughout Riverside County.

The Services manager will administer the Riverside County American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding for the Riverside County Nonprofit Assistance Fund. The funds are intended to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic by assisting local nonprofit organizations disproportionately negatively impacted financially through technical assistance services to strengthen, expand and support them.

The NPO Centric Services Manager will work with the entities administering the Direct Financial Assistance (Inland Southern California United Way) and Programmatic (Inland Empire Community Foundation) funding to identify nonprofits in need of technical assistance. The NPO Centric Services Manager:

  • Will engage nonprofits throughout Riverside County and coordinate the technical assistance services which qualify under ARPA funds.
  • Will engage nonprofit professionals to deliver the technical assistance either by one- on- one or through workshops.
  • Monitor the distribution of funding to ensure equal distribution to each Supervisorial District.
  • Utilize Foundant, a database management system, to track utilization of services and reporting.
  • Evaluate performance of technical assistance consultants to ensure knowledge of area and full satisfaction by nonprofit clients.
  • If needed, to conduct workshops in subject matters identified by the grant.
  • Administer the technical assistance activities to ensure full utilization of funds within the grant period.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform administrative activities directly related to providing services to nonprofits.
  • Prepare work schedule for the work required. Able to work independently and a self-starter.
  • Monitor training and consulting activities to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services within budgetary limits.
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to expand consultant pool as needed.
  • Carry out major assignments related to the operation of the business.
  • Must engage in the exercise of discretion and independent judgment.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops. Able to conduct workshops as needed.
  • Ensure invoices, and contracts are correct and submitted timely for payment.
  • Develop and maintain content and communications for outreach campaigns, activities, and events using independent judgment.
  • Send, receive, and draft correspondence such as emails, reports, spreadsheets, letters, etc.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with business associates, vendors, and internal executive staff.
  • Maintain records, files, and pertinent documents.
  • Support all Executive Staff members on an as-needed basis with various tasks.
  • Answer telephone messages and emails promptly, respond to inquiries and requests for information, provides assistance, or directs calls to the appropriate staff member in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain functional and confidential filing systems (electronic and hard copy).
  • Exercise independent judgment and initiative in responding to client’s concerns.
  • Assist and support special projects and programmatic events as assigned.
  • Create new reports, create and administer dashboards as needed.
  • Participate in the development and updates of training materials and communications.
  • Demonstrate strong, independent project management skills, including conceptualization, analysis; planning resources, managing milestones, and objectives, and being responsible for the overall project, content, and delivery of services successfully.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office.
  • Must have experience with and willingness to learn more about and in Kartra and Constant Contact.
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent writing skills.
  • Must have strong web navigation skills.
  • Must have knowledge and experience in social media marketing.
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree required but may be substituted for leadership position at a nonprofit.
  • AT LEAST two years of relevant and proven work experience required in a nonprofit professional setting.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Produce error-free emails.
  • Ability to communicate via phone and email.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Must be professional - in both appearance and performance of job responsibilities.
  • Must be personable, a team player, and friendly with clients and coworkers.
  • Passionate about learning new technologies.
  • Bright, energetic, and willing to learn.
  • Organized, flexible, and able to multitask.
  • Must be punctual.
  • Exercise independent judgment and act on it in the best interest of RAP – NPO Centric.
  • Responsible and self-reliant.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt under the Administrative exemption of California wage orders and Fair Labor Standards Act.
