Responsibilities

The Nurse Manager of Clinical Practice will work Regular Full-Time (Days) and is responsible for the overall management of the nursing process, clinical functions, and staff competency.

• The Nurse Manager of Clinical Practice provides clinical leadership: serving as a resource and providing support, direction, provides or assures training and education for nursing/clinical staff.
• The Nurse Manager is a member of the leadership team, working collaboratively with all members to assist in operational systems development, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and monitoring, and clinical staff recruitment and retention.

Qualifications

Bassett Healthcare Network follows the New York State and New York State Department of Health COVID-19 vaccine mandates for healthcare workers. This mandate requires COVID-19 vaccinations for personnel working for or on behalf of our hospitals and nursing homes. The New York State mandate allows for medical exemptions and religious accommodations, when appropriate. Education:

• Associates degree OR diploma of nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred

Experience:

• 3 years of clinical nursing experience required
• 1 years of leadership experience preferred

Licensure/Certifications:

• Current NYS RN License required
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license required
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty
