Position Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner, RN, MD, or Physician Assistant who will provide a diverse array of cosmetic procedures to enhance beauty, youthful appearance, and well-being. This position is responsible for providing ancillary cosmetic services, comfort and safety; assuring the efficiency and safety administering BOTOX, dermal fillers, Laser skin treatments, other medical spa treatments, as well as the maintenance of supplies and equipment; and clinical charting.

Responsibilities:

• Provides safe and excellent care and service as outlined in our standardized operating procedures
• Possesses a thorough understanding of cosmeceutical products
• Displays comprehensive knowledge of facial anatomy and the physiology of the skin and underlying tissue
• Demonstrates understanding of and experience with the latest aesthetic protocols and procedures
• Communicates with patients in a sensitive, respectful and non-judgmental manner as well as to provide clarity around pre and post-operative instructions
• Applies teaching and counseling techniques to skillfully address each patient’s needs across a broad variety of aesthetic service offerings
• Recommends various Spa treatments, Skin regimens based on Patient Consultations.
• Skillfully uses active listening to collect information and maintain a customer-centered focus
• Demonstrates ability to quickly build relationships with people with varying backgrounds, personalities, temperaments, and needs
• Assesses patient’s general health, psychosocial status and needs related to cosmetic procedures
• Conducts productive, efficient patient consultations

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

• Botox injection experience (two years) is required
• At least two years experience with dermal fillers: e.g., Juvederm, Restylane, or Radiesse
• At least two years working in a Med Spa or Dermatology practice
• Specific experience with HotSculpting, IPL, PRP and Laser treatment devices of benefit but not essential.
• Pain Management education
• Possesses wide ranging knowledge of skin care treatments
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; exceptional time management skills
• Sensitive to confidential material and knowledge of HIPAA/Patient Privacy Practices
• Compliance with OSHA regulations and Universal Precautions (infection prevention and control)
• Active PA State licensure
• Experience with aesthetic procedures and injectables (ie. Botox/Fillers) preferred.

• Bachelor's

License/Certification:

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (Required)
• RN Qualification (Required)
• Injecting Certification (Required)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Work environment will be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate
• Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and set for extended periods of time
• Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen
• Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrist, hands, and or fingers
• Must be able to have own reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds as needed
• Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
• May be exposed to upset patients
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written with internal and external patients with the ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy
• Mental ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
