REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a relevant practice such as an Urgent Care, ER, or Trauma Unit
• Ordering and interpreting tests, conducting complete physicals, and administering therapeutic procedures
• Analyzes reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient. This includes diagnosing his/her injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.
• Effectively communicates with patients and other healthcare staff to manage patient care
• Maintains a positive and productive behavior towards employees, paitients, vendors and guest.
• Acts as a Leader within the clinic.
• Refers the patient to other physicians or appropriate resources when and if needed
• Prescribes medication and treatment for the patient. And, the Nurse Practitioner recommends appropriate physical and dietary routines and methods for the prevention of disease.
• Instruct the patient to maintain personal hygiene.
• Performs all services in a manner that is consistent with the standards of medical practice in the community
• Performs such clinical procedures as are consistent with a Nurse Practitioners’ standard practice patterns and training
• Performs or supervises various invasive medical procedures that include: the injection of medications, inoculations, and vaccinations
• Patient focused, friendly, and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulation
• Valid Medical License
• Active DEA and CDS License
• Available to work weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
