Seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in an office-based practice of a Board Certified Pain Management/Anesthesiologist specializing in Interventional Pain Management.

The ideal candidate would have experience in a private office setting including patient assessment/evaluation, medication management and sensitivity to issues of chronic illness. Make sure patients follow their treatment plans, including compliance with tests and other treatment recommendations, update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment. Analyze test data and determine the need for follow up appointments and further treatment options, order diagnostic tests, including but not limited to MRIs, interventional procedures and laboratory tests, prescribe medications and treatment regimens that are appropriate and relevant to medical condition. Administer trigger point injections. Consults with physician as needed and refers to physicians for more complicated medical cases. Perform other duties as assigned.
