Operational Excellence, born to be a Coach and Trainer and loves Sota-style® pizza!

Here’s a peak at a week in the life of the Operations Manager:

• Lead and support General Managers of corporate stores in our mission to “Rid the world of skimpy, wimpy, pizza!” We are currently at 3 stores, a food truck, and growing.
• Exceed Financial targets by building sales and controlling expenses
• Coordinate and support in-restaurant training for new Franchisees and General

Managers o Teach our new leaders

• Support the New Store Opening process o Help the franchisee set up and build their new business
• Support New Store Opening Training o Teach franchisees to become trainers
• Lead the training and implementation process for new products, services, promotions, tools, and programs o This includes validating integration after implementation, reporting, and troubleshooting
• Other duties as assigned o That’s a fancy way of saying, we’re a small but mighty team with plenty of super fun tasks to delegate

This might be a great position for you if you are:

• A skilled teacher, trainer, and coach who’s not afraid to have respectful, tough talks when needed (Operational Excellence is no place for Minnesota Nice)
• A confident leader who isn’t afraid to make decisions and own them
• A quality kingpin with an attention to detail and inability to skimp or take short cuts
• A Business Aficionado who knows a restaurant P & L like you personally wrote it, and you know how to teach other to build their business
• A recreational technology expert-we love our tech and we’re always upgrading.

• A relationship-builder with a proven track record for quickly gaining trust and building teams

You’re off to a great start if you have the following experience/education:

• Restaurant Operations
• Multi-unit Leader

• Training General Manager
• Serve Safe Food Certified & MNFPM – current preferred o Bonus points if you are certified to be a SSF proctor
• At least a two-year degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field

Here are a few things you’ll need to join our team:

• The legal right to work in the United States and the required documents to complete the Form I-9
• A valid Driver’s License and Insurance
• The ability to work non-traditional hours (this isn’t an office job)
• Ability to travel – mostly day trips with overnights for out of market New Store
