Job Summary:

With over two decades of service, a cold chain packaging company serving the Food & Beverage, Agricultural, Pharmaceutical, and Meal-Kit industries is looking to expand its footprint in the area.

Our company partners with our clients to custom manufacture unique solutions for unique temperature-controlled packaging requirements.

With our expanding footprint, we are looking for an ambitious and dependable Operations Supervisor who will join our Company and help lead and enable us to expand into our first out of state manufacturing location, Texas.

Initial Duties/Responsibilities:

• Takes full ownership of small but expanding manufacturing operation producing liquid filled cold packs.

Long Term General Duties

• Maintains workflow, staffing levels, and scheduling to achieve targeted operational and financial results.
• Designs and implements departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves delays in shift operations, ensuring shipping deadlines are met.
• Informs production planning department, relevant management, and other stakeholders of delays.
• Facilitates maintenance and repairs to equipment.
• Works with VP of Operations and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Evaluates and reports on department metrics to leadership team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ of experience in Operations field is required
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven work experience in implementing operational processes and project management
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and to stand, walk, twist and turn frequently
• Forklift experience
