JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Legal Assistant

REPORTS TO: Lead Attorney(s)

SUPERVISED BY: Lead Attorney(s) and Partners

SUMMARY: Performs legal assistant duties for Willis Law Attorneys and Counselors at Law (hereinafter WL). This position is assigned to and reports to the attorney responsible for the matter delegated and is generally supervised by the Partner Attorney and Lead Paralegal.

Growing and busy law firm seeking a talented, devoted and loyal full-time paralegal/legal assistant. The successful candidate would have a diverse experience in aspects of estate planning/probate, corporate and real estate and may also have experience in civil litigation.

The position requires the frequent use of discretion and independent judgment. The position requires exemplary technical and organizational skills, attention to detail, strong client service skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Word and Outlook is a must. Knowledge of QuickBooks time-tracking is a bonus, but can be trained.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24,972.00 - $68,859.00 per year
