Hey Rapid City, let’s get physical! Edgewood’s senior living community is looking for a PRN Physical Therapist, to help our residents get physical, wherever they call home! The perfect candidate will serve as an integral part of the CaringEdge team, the health services division of Edgewood Healthcare.

We’re looking for someone dedicated to the delivery of effective, evidenced-based clinical practice with a focus on geriatric care provided through the outpatient therapy platform. Responsibilities

• Develop a written plan of care specific to each patient and implements therapy services based on that plan of care.
• Initiate physical therapy program and instruct other personnel in certain phases of physical therapy with which they may work with a patient, as well as instructing them as to the goals of the physical therapy program for the patient by participating in case conferences.
• Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries based on the attainment of goals.
• Participate in peer consultation process.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants according to organization policy and state regulations.

Minimum Requirements
You would be a great addition to our team if you possess the following:

• Masters or Doctorate in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization.
• Licensed to practice as physical therapist within the state.
• CPR certification.
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.
• Compassionate with good communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
