Location of position: North/Central Austin, Round Rock, Pflugerville

American Dependable Therapy is seeking a qualified and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our fast growing team. Therapist will be responsible for oversight of therapy performed in accordance with the interdisciplinary type, create a plan of care and evaluate, establish, and implement individual programs for our patients to increase functional ability and reestablish independence at home.

This is an in-home/field contract position (not telehealth) that has the ability for flexibility and growth. You have the ability to set your own schedule and work as much or as little as you wish.

Compensation is visit based and you have the ability to use assistants or perform your own treatments. The ability for growth and success is limitless! We are a small agency looking to grow and we need the right leaders!

We are looking to grow in the Austin, San Antonio, Temple, and Waco Areas!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performing home visits to evaluate patient's level of function
• Per Medicare guidelines, developing an individual plan of care based on the client's personal goals
• Implementing the treatment program through direct treatment of the patient - may use assistants or choose to perform treatments.
• Reassessing clinical signs and symptoms to determine effectiveness of program
• Instructing patient, family, and staff regarding participation in the treatment program
• When necessary, collaborating with PTA and additional interdisciplinary team members to improve treatment program

Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:

• Completed degree in physical therapy
• License to practice physical therapy by the states of Texas
• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methodology required of a physical therapist and its practice application in the treatment of home health patients at home
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to work with an interdisciplinary team
• Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable insured transportation
