Washington Companies Design & Media Services is looking for a full time Senior Presentation & Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role you will be part of a talented design team working with the Washington Companies in a fast paced, multifaceted environment. As a presentation designer on this team, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with business stakeholders and senior leadership to create clear and engaging presentations using sharp visuals and tailored graphics for board presentations, strategic plans, and other high-profile presentations. Above all, this role will require you to understand the key message the client is wishing to communicate, understand the content, and bring the story to life in an engaging and visually pleasing ways. While remote work is okay on occasion, this position will be required to work onsite with the team in Missoula, Montana.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Consult with stakeholders on visual story and flow of content to create engaging and effective presentations and visual communications

· Understand the content of presentations and utilize best design practices to create layouts for optimal viewing across a variety of devices

· Manage presentation assets and templates across the Washington enterprise, ensuring brand standards are met

· Design custom graphics, from icons to infographics

· Enable end users with self-service design tools as it relates to creating and maintaining presentation assets

· Work with the Manager of Design & Media Services to formalize and build out presentation services at the Washington Companies

· Create data visualizations that are clear and easy to understand

· Have experience working under pressure and be able to handle a wide range of tasks and projects at the same time

· Uphold brand guidelines and have strong knowledge of design standards

REQUIREMENTS

· Experience creating high level visual communications and/or presentations

· Possess intimate knowledge of presentation programs, including PowerPoint

· Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; some copy editing will be required of this position

· Meticulous attention to detail

· General business acumen and ability to understand and translate financial data to charts, graphs, infographics, etc.

· Ability to work under pressure and handle a wide range of tasks and projects at the same time

· Ability to quickly digest and follow directions

· Strong sense of visual aesthetics

· Prior experience working with senior and executive business leaders a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
