The Distributed Sites Camarillo team supports several Airborne Electronic Attack programs across two offices – Camarillo and Pt Mugu. As a Software Database Engineer for our organization, you will support the warfighter mission including efforts involved in the Electronic Warfare Database.

The team is looking for you to join our organization as a Principal Software Database Engineer. While supporting the EA-18G programs, you’ll get to:

• Collaborate with our customer, internal NG sites and other engineering disciplines

• Implement and maintain smooth operation and physical design of databases

• Perform database maintenance tasks to support application changes and ensure integrity and efficient performance of the databases. (Typical maintenance tasks include backup, recovery, migration, space management, structural changes, and performance tuning)

• Participate in the research and resolution of database problems

• Maintain security and integrity controls

• Participate in Continuous Integration setups

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have SQL server database experience

• Bachelors degree and 5 years experience

• Maintained database larger than 1 gigabyte with more than 100 tables

• Experience with T-SQL programming

• Strong abilities writing queries, stored procedures, and functions

• Ability to function as a member of an integrated team

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a clearance before you start

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL and P-SQL

• Experience with VBA for both Excel and Access

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Knowledge of Electronic Warfare principles

This position reports to Camarillo, CA, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Point Mugu, CA, CA, USA.
