The Team

Corporate Technology Group – Digital Identity Proofing squad is looking for highly motivated, passionate, and problem solver analyst to work in a collaborative, iterative, and fast-paced environment, while delivering world-class, cloud-native, security solutions to ensure Fidelity customers are protected in a constantly evolving cyber-threat landscape. Digital Identity Proofing Platform enables fraud reduction, helps adhere to data regulations, and drive technology simplicity across the firm while considering scalability and stability.

As a Principal Systems Analyst you are deeply committed to improving the value delivered to our customers. In an agile structure you will collaborate with other squad members, squad and chapter leads, and other stakeholders to build Digital Identity Proofing solutions for your domain. In this role you will be applying your strong system analysis and business process reengineering expertise to support Fidelity business units on-boarding to Digital Identity Proofing Platform. You will form a deep understanding of the Digital Identity Proofing Platform and work closely with business units to understand their systems, process, and workflows to identify areas of improvement, collaborate on and coordinate solutioning integrations, track progress, and measure delivered value. Additionally, you will influence the strategic decisions and direction of the Digital Identity Proofing Platform by leveraging your experiences and learnings from on-boarding business units to Digital Identity Proofing Platform. This role will provide you with unique opportunities to work across Fidelity business units, build lasting partnerships, and influence decisions and direction for one of Fidelity’s core business offerings.


The Expertise You Have

  • Degree in Technology discipline/Business with strong IT focus

  • 10+ years of Systems Analysis experience within the IT field, financial services, or related environment

  • SQL and database knowledge to be able to analyze large enterprise-wide application databases, preferred

  • Experience working in an environment supporting a similar technical stack: Java/Spring boot, AWS, Kafka/message queues, microservices, RESTful API contracts, and json payloads.

  • Experience with business process reengineering concepts and principals

  • Ability to work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand and document existing business processes and workflows

  • Ability to optimize productivity and increase business value by reengineering existing processes and workflows, identify areas of improvement, collaborate on and coordinate solutioning, track progress, and measure delivered value

  • Ability to work with business and technology stakeholders in defining problem statements and resolving issues

  • Ability to gather requirements, create stories and epics for squad deliverables

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple applications and complex integrations

  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation

  • Passionate about your craft with an ability to effectively collaborate and interact with global development team – assist with clarifying customer requirements and quality check on products prior to customer release

  • Facilitate regular meetings with global development team and customer/squad lead

  • Ability to influence others with experience in conflict resolution

  • Support project and release planning and testing

  • Provide prompt and proactive status updates on assigned activities

  • Knowledge of scaled agile, agile development methodologies and agile deployment

  • Strong Change Management skills, inspiring change successfully and process disciplined

  • Is driven and persistent. Proven track record of supporting effective organizational change

  • Engage with multiple BU units adopting ID Proofing technology and help drive process and workflow re-engineering efforts for customer-facing account opening, maintenance, and transactional user-interfaces

  • Work with agile team and planning leads to identify, define and agile tools deployment to ensure work aligns with strategic goals and roadmap.

  • Utilize structured, disciplined, and data-oriented process to identify root cause and solve problems across tools.

  • Effectively communicate to senior team progress and delivered value. Participate in executive level presentations for internal or external use as applicable to communicate project and portfolio status and plans.
