From ideation through iteration, this Product Designer will work with TikTok design team members (Product Design, Visual Design), PM, engineering, marketing, and QA teams. You should possess extraordinary visual and user interface skills and user-centered design principles. We're looking for a Product Designer with a great sense of aesthetics and aim for the highest design quality with achievable solutions. We're targeting someone who is a team player and able to exhibit their design work in a global collaboration environment.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years designing UX/UI for consumer-facing products across iOS and Android
• Strong in visual design, interaction design, and regularly execute prototypes using tools like Principle, Framer, or AE to rapidly test and iterate complex interactions and experiences
• Experience working with design systems (design components, icon, arts, motion, illustration)
• Great communication skills to be able to articulate your concepts, vision, and decision-making
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across the organization
• Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple concepts
• Self-motivated and able to efficiently run a project without close supervision
• Highly skilled and efficient in using any tools you need to visualize your ideas and deliver the work
• Experience with a/b testing and a data driven practice
• Result-oriented and resilient. Ability to fit within a startup culture which celebrates efficiency and driving impact
• At times, work efficiently under high levels of pressure and demanding timelines
• A passion and enthusiasm for TikTok and its community

Qualifications

• Proficient in Figma/ Sketch, Adobe suite
• Deep knowledge of consumer-facing products, and demonstrated proficiency in the formal elements of design including typography, color and layout
• Portfolio is required

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $87467 - $200444 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
