This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
In this role, you will be part of a newly expanded program within the company. The program provides the opportunity to learn new skills through training and on the job learning. This opportunity will provide education into Calix and how sales is enabled and trained so that they can confidently sell to their prospects and customers. This role will provide exposure to different products, solutions, and sales team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about marketing and wants to optimize new ways to enable our sellers. This is an exciting opportunity for any aspiring Sales or Marketing student to come into a high growth, fast paced environment and get real hands-on experience building a field enablement program. The selected candidate will join us full-time in the Summer months. The duration of the program is expected to be 90 days.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Work with key internal stakeholders to support the development of Demand Generation programs. Learn our enablement tools and become proficient on how to make them efficient for our sellers.
Ensuring our CRM tools have clean data for outbound marketing and Demand Generation.
Research prospect, contact, and persona details in SFDC and other tools to determine what is new in the enablement space.
Assist with data general data clean up initiatives Research online courses and books to supplement role-based learning.
Loading salesforce campaigns and tying to Pardot campaigns.
Assist with adding new segmentation information to existing accounts and contacts (Job function, contact information, product preferences, product power users, etc.).
Researching digital channel effectiveness and evaluating new channels.
Creating data-driven marketing training materials.
Work with internal stakeholders to assess the relevance of Seismic content and recommend refreshes.
Pull weekly reports on enablement performance.
Qualifications:
Working towards a marketing/communication/business management degree.
Excel and data entry experience.
Salesforce.com or CRM experience preferred.
Comfortable with technology and learning new apps and platforms
Team player.
Experience in a role or project requiring analytical problem solving and analysis.
Strong communication skills with all levels of an organization.
Detail oriented.
Available to work effectively in a remote environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity and fast changing environments.
Microsoft Office software suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work for the complete summer break (May - Aug).
Prefer a rising Junior or Senior but will consider rising a rising Sophomore with experience.
