Vertex IT Systems is actively looking for Product Owner for API Integration who will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of API products and services. The Ideal would work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure that API products meet or exceed the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and communicate the vision, strategy, and goals for API products and services.
• Create and maintain a product backlog, prioritizing items based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, gathering requirements and providing regular updates on the progress.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure that API products are developed and tested to the highest standards.
• Monitor and analyze API usage data to identify opportunities for improvement and new features.
• Work with the operations team to ensure that API products are deployed and supported in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in API integration, with a proven track record of delivering successful API products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize customer needs.
• Experience working with agile development methodologies and tools.
• Experience with API management and analytics platforms.
• A technical background, with knowledge of API development and deployment best practices.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• PMP, CSM, CSPO or other relevant professional certifications would be a plus.
