As a Production Supervisor for IWG, you will direct and supervise all production operations for the production department and shift assigned. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of a Production Supervisor

• Direct and supervise production operations in order to meet or exceed Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory goals for the department and shift assigned.
• Coordinate production activities through planning with Superintendents and/or Plant Managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Follow Leader Standard Work and Daily Schedule.
• Support customer requests and work to identify and eliminate root causes to defective product.
• Ensure operators are trained and certified to perform tasks and objectives.
• Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
• Lead with integrity and in a way that earns respect and trust from operators.
• Ensure that operators are engaged, developing skills, and taking ownership of their responsibilities.
• Ensure the department is organized and clean.
• Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing methods and tools.

Qualifications and Skills of a Production Supervisor

• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field is required; or combination of education and 1-3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with implementing Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
• Must be a well-organized individual that can manage multiple tasks and problem solve.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with both the direct and indirect workforce.
• Computer/MS Office skills.
• Should have working experience with the company planning and scheduling system.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive Attitude.
