ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Generates reporting to meet the needs of the business.
  • Works closely with Data Analyst Supervisor/Project Manager and VP of Business Operations to implement company- wide projects.
  • Works closely with department managers to identify and streamline data processes.
  • Works in conjunction with other departments to identify needed data analysis to ensure data consistency.
  • Identifies inconsistencies in business processes and makes recommendations on how to resolve them.
  • Interprets data and provides reports to allow for better decision making (i.e. tracking auto to will call)
  • Updates various information on the company scorecard.
  • Responsible for data integrity of all fields within Ignite to ensure that good information can be extracted from Ignite.
  • Develops and manages data documentation and structure.
  • Assists in planning, developing and implementation of all internal and external data for various programs.
  • Works with 3rd party vendors as needed for data migration.
  • Assists and or heads special projects.
  • Works with sensitive information and must maintain confidentially.
  • Must become proficient with Palmer’s policies, procedures and internal intranet.
  • Must be proficient at using various computer platforms/systems including Excel, PowerPoint, Google, Ignite and various portals such as customer portal.
  • Performs research and analysis on selecting new software platforms, sets up demos and works closely with vendors.
  • Coordinates database upgrades and is lead employee for database cleanup including import/exports.
  • Performs Quality Assurance of data to ensure proper follow through and reports to department manager with any inconsistencies.
  • Responsible for efficient communication, harmonious interaction and support of co-workers and management team members.
  • Performs other tasks assigned by the manager to provide general support to company operations.
  • Maintains and promotes company brand guidelines and core values at all times.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

SAFETY Working safely is a condition of employment. Employees shall verbally report and photograph all crashes / injuries to their Manager immediately. If your Manager is not available, report the crash / injury to the Safety Manager or another Manager, or Human Resource Manager.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Associate degree; or three to five years related experience/training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Must speak fluent English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

COMPUTER SKILLS Microsoft Office suite: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel. Advanced Excel user. Must be able to run reports in all software programs we use. Ability to quickly learn our computer software. Use Google Drive and search the employee intranet.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Strong Analytical skills.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Must be able to respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently.
