We are a local real estate developer/commercial property manager actively seeking a Property Accountant to join our team. Our Company is privately-held, and has been a leader in the industry for over forty years. We pride ourselves on the longevity of our staff, and the team-oriented culture we have built.

Our office environment requires that all team members, from the executive level down, are willing to pitch in and help their colleagues when necessary.

The primary responsibilities:

• Prepare construction loan draws.
• Maintain general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers including making journal entries and adjustments.
• Prepare and ensure quality of financial statements.
• Calculate distributable cash flow on a monthly basis.
• Oversee all accounting operations including A/R and A/P.
• Support Property Managers with month-end and year-end close process.
• Support Property Managers with annual budget preparation and expense reconciliation.

The candidate MUST:

• Perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Be self-driven and results-oriented with a clear focus on high quality work.
• Possess ability to problem-solve, and apply good judgment to every-day challenges.
• Communicate effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Construction or Development experience a plus.
• Knowledge of Timberline, MRI, and/or Yardi a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
