Siegwerk has an opening for a QC Technician in Morganton, NC.

Job Summary

It is the responsibility of the Quality Control Technician to insure all physical requirements of manufactured products and purchased raw materials meet their individual established guidelines by conducting and analyzing data to establish approval of material or to determine the proper corrective action to adjust material in order to meet the expected results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs routine testing and evaluation of results
• Inspects products at various stages of production process
• Compiles and evaluates data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products
• Completes supporting documentation and communicates results
• Provides analyses and helps interpret data
• Follows correct Q.C. specification number and test procedure unless stated per specific ink
• Enters data in computer and communicates results to internal/external customers
• Meets customer needs to the best of the incumbents ability, in line with Siegwerk's philosophy that the customer is the #1 priority
• Various contacts inside the company, including Production, Warehouse, Quality Engineering, & Labs. Limited contact with In-house Technicians, Sales and other staff areas.
• Any other duties as specified by management.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Correctly differentiate the difference between colors and their hues
• Possess good communication and grammar skills
• Capable of performing mathematical equations
• Computer knowledge
• Good housekeeping skills

Education and Experience

• Successful completion of color test required.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
