Real Estate Closer / Legal Assistant or Paralegal

Naples law firm is seeking a real estate legal assistant to join our team to assist with real estate closings and other real estate transactions. The position involves assisting with the:

• Drafting of closing documents and correspondence;
• Preparation of settlement statements utilizing closing software;
• Communication with third parties to obtain estoppels, surveys, lien searches, etc.;
• Witnessing and notarization of documents; and
• General administrative support including answering phones, e-mails, and filing.

The ideal candidate should:

• Have previous experience as real estate legal assistant;
• Be a Notary Public (but we will assist in obtaining notary if candidate is otherwise qualified);
• Be Proficient using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat;
• Have familiarity with real estate closing software or willingness to learn new software (Display Soft is used by the firm);
• Be detail-oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
• Work well with others.

Salary commensurate with skill and experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off and holidays.
