Moravian Manor Communities is seeking full-time Restaurant Servers to join our team at the Owl’s Nest Restaurant and Sippery, located on our beautiful Woodland Campus in Lititz, PA.

The Restaurant Servers will be responsible for breakfast and lunch service in the Owl's Nest Restaurant. This position requires preparing and serving food/beverages to residents and other customers in an efficient and courteous manner. Effectively promotes the Owl’s Nest, takes food/beverage orders, and prepares/serves residents while adhering to all health regulations and local liquor laws.

• Greets all residents and customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Accurately and quickly takes, enters, prepares and delivers resident and customer’s orders according to standards.
• Responds to residents and customer’s needs and provides the highest level of quality service.
• Assists other associates as needed to meet resident’s and customer’s needs.
• Dispenses appropriate levels of alcohol and prepares drinks appropriately.
• Consistently checks residents and guests’ identification and monitors consumption of alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with state and local liquor laws.
• Responsible for disposal of garbage, picking up trays, re-stocking barware, and clearing/wiping down tables and counter.
• Completes all required paperwork accurately.
• Assists with inventory, completing inventory par sheets, and other responsibilities as needed.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, and handles all beverage/food in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Assist in maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of the Owl’s Nest.
• Completes all required side work, and takes initiative to jump in wherever necessary

The schedule for this position will include working every other weekend.

Server Experience/Skills Required: One year prior serving/customer service experience, preferred but not required. Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast paced environment. Servers must have the ability to speak, understand, and write English in order to meet guest’s needs and complete required paperwork.

This position requires proof of a COVID-19 vaccination and influenza vaccination, unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.
