Sales Executive

Our locally owned company, Waypoint Insurance North, is growing and we are seeking a motivated sales professional to join our team as a sales associate to pursue a career path in insurance sales. Insurance sales is a lucrative career choice with senior agents in commercial insurance being top earners in the country.

Our sales teams serve as the first point of contact with new prospects and help them quote their home, auto, commercial, and agriculture insurance with multiple regional and national insurance carriers. Our team help manage the entire new client process from start to finish including closing the sale.

As an independent insurance agency, Waypoint Insurance is positioned for rapid growth. We provide value to our clients by working with the carriers to provide multiple appropriate coverage options for our clients. Our sales team has access to a variety of tools, marketing programs, and education that help them succeed and grow.

A property & casualty insurance license is required within 90 days of hire so non licensed candidates may apply before they are licensed. Coursework is 40 hours online, must pass state exam with a 70% or higher, full reimbursement offered for education expenses.

Qualifications:

• College degree - preferred
• Prior sales experience - preferred
• Prior insurance experience - preferred

• Ability to learn and use multiple software applications - required
• Ability to obtain a property and casualty insurance producers license within 90 days of hire - required
