Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Public Relations / Sales Manager to drive sales revenue and optimize the customer service experience. This position will be responsible for creating new leads, following up on incoming leads, communicating with new and existing clients, posting on social media for the company and managing employee results through training, coaching, and mentoring of the sales process in order to drive sales revenue for the company. The Public Relations / Sales Manager will work closely with the leadership team to establish for the day/week/month and often acts as a client interface and problem solver. This individual will play a key role in developing and managing business operations that increase sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction and overall streamline operational effectiveness.
This position reports directly to the Owner/ Director of Operations .

OBJECTIVES
● Lead the sales team in achieving sales revenue goals

  • Average 7 jobs per month
  • Average 70 estimates per month (17 estimates per week)
  • Average 90 incoming calls per month
  • Average 100 outgoing calls per month
  • Network with at least 5 new leads per day to set appointments

● Track leads from Angileads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and any other lead source

● Create appointments with new leads for estimate meetings and schedule times with Estimator/Office Manager to look at projects in person

● Facilitate, track, and evaluate the daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance
● Effectively monitor team productivity based on KPIs and use data to improve outcomes
● Coach and motivate Sales Associates to enhance productivity
● Monitor and manage opportunities for revenue and drive revenue to meet targeted quotas
● Communicate with clients on progress of projects via phone calls, site visits, text messages, emails, etc. to ensure client satisfaction and to complete client questionnaire upon project completion

● Follow up on progress of leads and potential clients and correctly categorize them in the lead flow until project completion

● Work with upper management to generate ads and create email marketing campaigns that are sent to all potential clients to increase business revenue

● Input all leads and information into Projul Construction Software
● Generate weekly sales reports
● Post daily on all social media platforms and monitor and respond to all customer comments and/or questions
● Promote, support, and facilitate teamwork and foster a positive environment

COMPETENCIES
● Proven experience in sales, activity planning, or similar position
● Ability to network and maintain client relationships and successfully work with individuals from a diverse background
● Demonstrated ability to deliver sales presentations, and direct and motivate a team
● Possesses a deep understanding of construction materials and methods of installation for communicating with clients
● Ability to follow instructions and pay great attention to detail
● Ability to respond well under pressure
● Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple assignments at a time with efficiency and success
● Possesses knowledge of performance evaluation and sales metrics
● Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to consistently deliver high energy and positivity
● Ability to problem solve and come up with creative solutions
● Possesses a valid drivers license

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

● GED or High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Management or similar field preferred

● Minimum 4 years of experience in sales required
● Minimum 2 years of progressive leadership experience required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
● Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
● Must be able to lift at least 20lbs
● Travel required up to 20% of the time and within a 45 mile radius

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,318.00 - $57,144.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Commission pay
