Job Description

Base Salary $60k + Commission + Bonus

The Sales Representative is the engine in the company – influencing growth and generating forward direction. The Sales Representative is to pursue new leads, convert leads to paying customers and maintain positive and healthy relationships with existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

o Set estimating and sales targets together with upper management and define strategies to achieve these targets

o Generate leads

o Work with the prospective accounts and convert to orders

o Arrange and attend meetings with the customers(s)

o Potentially meet with customers at their place of business

o Write up bids and contracts and close on orders

o Maintain and work with existing customer accounts

o Communicate very closely with the General Manager and the team on all order details, being proactive in delivering information and details

o Develop and continually improve personal estimating, sales methods and techniques

Key Skills/Requirements

o 3-5 Years Sales Experience

o Extensive experience in excavation processes and services

o Understand why a focus on true quality is the building block to any good production process

o Excavation estimating experience preferred

o Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Work, Excel) and general computer skills

o Experience with Quick Books preferred

o Strong planning and organization skills

o Able to remain focused under pressure

o Creative problem-solver

o Detail-oriented

o Self-directed

o Teachable; able to follow instructions

o Hardworking, Trustworthy, Humble
