Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Security Officers on March 2, 2023 from 10 AM - 3 PM. We are hiring full-time and part-time officers for all days and shifts in the Rensselaer, NY area. These positions offer a pay range of $20 - $22/hr -with weekly pay.

Requirements:

• NY Guard Card
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be flexible

Security Officer Responsibilities:

• Provide access control
• Provide an excellent customer service experience
• Check-in visitors and contractors into the facility
• Check-in deliveries properly
• Provide directions to security officers
• Confirm security officers are performing duties and patrols
• Assist with training
• Communicate with Site Security Manager
• Conduct security patrols on foot
• Conduct security patrols in a security vehicle
• Contact security management regarding any incidents on site
• Response to any emergencies
• Complete incident reports
• Monitor property for safety

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
