CLUB EXPERIENCE SERVICE STAFF

San Angelo Country Club is looking for skilled servers who will be crossed trained to provide the best Club experience to our members and guests. This role includes standard daily serving from a daily menu, banquet and events set up and execution, bartending, and Club event execution.

Club Experience Server Responsibilities

• Learn member’s name and build professional relationship
• Anticipate member’s needs
• Take food and drink orders and enter in a point-of-sale accurately
• Provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously to ensure that members/guests receive a high level of customer service.
• Display positive and friendly attitudes
• Effectively communicate to members/guests any/all menu selections including daily specials
• Knowledge of the menu, specials, wine, and alcohol menus with the ability to make suggestions.
• Ensure your members/guests are enjoying their meals and take immediate action to correct any
• problems.
• Work respectfully with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy of tickets and expo of plates
• Buss and clear tables
• Run food orders and togos
• Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
• Assist with banquet set up including moving furniture and tables and create place settings by following a Banquet Event Order
• Serve buffet line, deliver synchronized plating, buss tables refill drinks
• Assist with prep work including wiping glasses, rolling silverware, sweep/mop, cut menus, restock supplies, etc.
• Maintain area for a clean, well-stocked, and member ready space
• Tend bar, learn cocktails, and make drinks for members and guests accurately upon requests
• Do any task requested from supervisor
• Work together as a team to deliver the best member experience

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a food-serving establishment preferred
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
• High level of stamina to work to work on feet for extended periods
• TABC and food handler certification
• Must work holidays and weekends

• San Angelo Country Club is proud to pay minimum wage and does not participate in tip credit. Servers collect additional tips through daily service, above and beyond service, and bartending. For banquets and events, gratuity and tips are pooled to be divided amongst participating employees including front and back of house for exceptional execution.
