An Aerospace Manufacturing Company located in Fort Collins, CO is looking for a Quality Inspector for Shipping and Receiving to join their team!

Schedule Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm

Pay rate: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Shipping & Receiving Inspector position is primarily responsible to ensure the conformance of manufactured products and incoming goods to be delivered to our customers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge or experience of Factory or industrial settings
• Must have good basic math skills
• Must have good organizational and communicational skills
• Must have proven people skills with the ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret drawings and follow instructions.
• Must have knowledge of most basic measuring tools and their applications.
• Must have good basic computer skills.
• Must be detail-oriented.

• 2 years minimum experience in Quality Control/assurance within a manufacturing environment is desired.
• High level of computer competence.
• Advanced Blueprint Reading and GD&T interpretation and application.
• Advanced computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office, JobBoss (ERP), UniPoint (QMS) or equivalent Software's.
• Experience with basic measuring tool calibration.
• Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001, AS9102, AS9130 Aerospace Standards.
• Internal Auditing (AS9101).
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement (KAIZEN) activities
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).

• Adhering to the codes of the company’s Quality Management System
• Maintain open communication and a professional working relationship with all employees.
• Logging time worked per job accurately into the company’s ERP software system.
• Maintaining confidentiality on all corporate subjects so classified.
• Using and submitting all forms and reports on a complete, accurate, and timely basis.
• This includes respecting and maintaining proper filing systems.
• Ensuring your work areas are clean and presentable to customers and other visitors.
• Maintaining all external relationships consistent with the objectives, operating philosophy, and desired image of the company, re: customer relations, public relations,

• Maintaining confidentiality on all corporate subjects so classified.
• Identify and help improve our success rates at producing parts “In Control”, all in a friendly manner-Learn, and use all appropriate modules of our
• Management Information System (JobBOSS Job Control/Accounting software; wand/keypad data entry hardware; MS Office's Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Make sure your workflows through the system within quality parameters
• Do not let other workers interrupt you or your co-workers
• Signing travelers/documents accurately, completely, and timely
• Verifying the Job Traveler's description of the part and customer engineering.
• Visually inspect first piece completely for obvious issues, then move on to the complete order
• Validate the Job Program Traveler accordingly
• Move the parts to the Ready-To-Ship or subsequent area of the company.
• Maintain Quality Records in accordance with company policy.
• Perform receiving inspections
• Perform First Article inspections
• Perform in-process inspections
• Perform final inspections
• Complete the Rejection, Acceptance, and Rework Tags as required for jobs.
• Notify the Inspection Supervisor immediately of any nonconforming product when discovered.
• Keep informed about the timeliness of jobs moving through your Area
