Job:

We have a multidisciplinary fast growing private practice looking for an individual with a Speech Language Pathology Assistant- (SLPA) License for a Full-time, or Part-Time position. Spanish is a plus.

Mentoring and Training
Mentoring Program in place to support recent graduates or therapist with no pediatric experience. They are paired with a highly experienced trainer. The training is paid and is for 3 weeks. After, you are assigned a mentor that will support you inside the company with technical and administrative concerns to help you feel comfortable and do your job well. Participate on monthly Reflective Supervision individual meetings to discuss challenges and develop best strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements:
* Active California State License as an SLPA or in the process.
* Current CPR certification
* Current TB test
* Current Physical
* COVID-19 Vaccination Card (accommodations provided).
* Desire to work with patients in home setting is required
* Pediatric experience is a plus!

Job Responsibilities:
* Under direction of a SLP provide Speech Therapy (individual treatment) in a play-based approach to clients ages birth to three years of age).
* Provide in home services and Telehealth
* Monitor client’s progress and report to supervising SLP
* Implement approved treatments for Speech Therapy.
* Provide parent education regarding Speech therapy for in home clients.
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team inclusive of Child Development Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Service Coordinators, Physicians and the family
* Support and facilitate each child's progress through developmental milestones, increase opportunities for inclusion and enhance trusted caregiver-child relationships
* Utilize effective and professional communication skills
* Submit documentation and signatures on a semi-monthly basis
* Other related duties as assigned
* Participate in Monthly Reflective Supervision
