Position Summary:
Working in support and project team environments, the Software Engineer provides development, support and maintenance of Martin-Brower Business Applications. This hybrid role will be tasked with managing Martin Brower applications, its corresponding infrastructure and overall support.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Act as Subject Matter Expert for the entire technical organization for these technologies and/or processes:Support application patching for test and production environments in coordination with our business stakeholders
• Support application platform and database development.
• Support environment configuration through Ansible
• Support report development using Jasper, Cognos or Microsoft Power BI
• Explore newer technologies through Pilots and POCs
• Develop new mobile applications, desktop applications
• Provide level 2 & 3 support for our global logistics applications and participate in a rotating on-call schedule providing 24x7 support
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and adjust or make recommendations as appropriate.
• Research requests concerning application issues and/or enhancements and work closely with Business Analysts and users to clarify business requirements and design solutions appropriately.
• Create deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, test results, etc.
• Provide off-hours support on a rotating basis as necessary.
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 – 2+ years of related experience
• 1 - 2 years working with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or My SQL
• 1 - 2 years’ experience developing and supporting applications
• 1 - 2 years’ experience reviewing, translating, and refining business requirements into technical design, code, and test logic.
• Travel 5%
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Manhattan WMOS experience, or any Tier 1 WMS system experience
• Experience working with cloud-based services
• Experience with low code platforms and/or RPA technologies
• Experience working in a 24x7 on-call IT organization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
