Staff Accountant/Assistant Controller
This position is based in Fremont, California.
Hurricane Electric, a global Internet backbone, seeks a detail oriented and 
organized individual with a CPA for a Staff Accountant/Assistant Controller position at our Fremont headquarters.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist with communication with audit and tax firms
• Accounts Receivable / Technical Billing Specialist
• Sales Support and Order Generation
• Customer Communications and Collections
• Accounts Payable Support
• Assist with budget preparation
• Assist with business tax preparation
• Calculate sales commissions and bonuses
• Assist with audit preparation
• Assist with a variety of research and account analysis projects

Position Requirements:

• CPA required
• 4 - 6 years accounting experience 

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Good Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise
• Good Proficiency with MS Excel
• Must possess attention to detail
• Must be ready to learn our industry
• Must have effective interpersonal skills to work cooperatively and proactively
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism
• Must have a clean background and be drug free
• Must be vaccinated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
