Position Summary:
Tekni-Plex is a US$2B+ globally-integrated company focused on developing and manufacturing innovative packaging materials, medical compounds and precision-crafted medical tubing solutions for some of the most well-known names in the medical, pharmaceutical, personal care, household & industrial, and food & beverage markets. Barrier Solutions-America produces packaging materials in North and South America as part of the Healthcare Division.
Position Responsibilities:

• Support monthly close process.
• Review and prepare journal entries as needed.
• Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts to ensure general ledger reliability.
• Calculate/maintain accruals not limited to accruals related to payroll, un-invoiced expenses, and inventory.
• Support cycle counting and annual physical inventory counts.
• Quarterly reporting to the parent company.
• Monthly expense flux analysis.
• Annual budget preparation.
• Assist in CapEx tracking and forecasting.
• Assist in the development of internal controls.
• Process credit memos.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as advised, including supporting special projects.
• Some travel to other BU sites.

Positions Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Past experience in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance testing and internal auditing
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Organization skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills and ability to prioritize and work within desired project timelines
• Strong ethics and a collaborative team member
• Able to withstand stress and flexible with working extended hours and weekends during closing processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience
• Strong documentation skills, reporting skills, and computer skills are required.

Pay: $67,000.00 - $75,000.00 per month
