About the Role:

The Subscriptions team is responsible for growing the subscriber base of Dow Jones Consumer products globally, across WSJ, Barron’s, MarketWatch and Investor’s Business Daily. The team manages the end-to-end subscription levers across acquisition, engagement, and retention. Within the Marketing org, this role sits in the Marketing and Subscription Strategy team, which sets plans and priorities for each of the lines of business and key strategic focus areas. You will report to the SVP Marketing & Subscription Strategy and will be responsible for supporting the initiatives and work streams in the Subscriptions that drive volume and revenue.

This role is hybrid, based out of our New York City office.

You Will:

Working alongside Marketing leaders, this role will have 3 key responsibility areas:

• Innovation - support brand and subscription managers in the planning and execution of 2023 initiatives and campaigns and plan for 2024. Collaborate cross-functionally with News, Product and Marketing Verticals to look for new opportunities to maximize new value propositions and DJ offerings as they are unveiled to new and existing customers.
• Research - collaborate with Customer Intelligence and with Marketing Verticals to glean qualitative and quantitative insights that can help DJ drive both acquisition and engagement. Key focus on younger audiences. Weekly competitive reporting and analysis.
• Support - help marketing leaders with the various planning and execution needed throughout the summer as DJ prepares for its next fiscal year.

You Have:

• Completed 1+ years of college coursework in Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism or Communications, is preferred.
• A passion and understanding of Dow Jones brands, customers and products
• A mindset that is data curious, data literate and digital first
• Ability to communicate appropriately with employees of all levels, stay calm under pressure and manage workload in a fast-paced environment
• First rate communications and writing skills with the ability to present, as well as efficiency with the Google suite
