About This Job:

We're looking for a student interested in learning more about Human Resources in a corporate environment supporting both local and international employee bases. This internship will provide students with a unique, hands-on opportunity to learn each of our HR team's focus areas including talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, compensation, HRIS, compliance, employment law, facilities management, and employee experience. You will have opportunities to work cross functionally with other areas of the business to learn how HR supports the organization will learning skills to help you be successful in a real-world HR department. Students should expect to gain strong foundational knowledge of all HR disciplines.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement events
  • Craft company communications including award nominations
  • Assist in planning employer branding strategies
  • Work closely with creative design team to develop communication campaigns
  • Assist in planning employee wellness activities
  • Support recruiting activities including resumes screening
  • Assist in various DEI initiatives
  • Draft or edit employee policies and help oversee communication and sign-off on such policies
  • Conduct market analyses on employee pay using benchmark data
  • Participate in the design and administration of employee surveys
  • Work on HR systems projects
  • Assist with annual benefits renewal
  • Research and report on best practices for human resources including talent, compliance, employee experience etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate student studying Human Resources, Business Administration, Humanities, Psychology, or similar field
  • Must have completed a minimum of three years in their area of study
  • Demonstrated problem solving capabilities
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills, especially writing
  • Self-motivated, ready to volunteer for tasks
  • Able to work in a team and shift priorities
