Job Summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is looking for a Data Analyst, Risk Management, to join our Management Development Summer Internship Program.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Perform statistical analysis and data manipulation to transform complex data into actionable insights to reduce claim costs
• Maintain and enhance RMIS claims systems including in house claim documentation, workflow, including all data integrity, monthly feed verification
• Analyze detailed loss information (including third party actuarial analyses and predictive modeling tools) to proactively identify trends and optimize claim management, work comp tasks

Qualifications/Description

• Able to work hybrid schedule in Marlborough, MA
• Rising senior majoring in Data Science
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
• Proficient database user including ability to create complex ad hoc reports and effectively analyze and present results
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work collaboratively and cross functionally
