Position Summary:

Our company is seeking an experienced Surgical Center Business Development Manager with the existing doctor and PI attorney relationships. The right candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work independently and immediate access to set up meetings with surgeons of all specialties. We're looking for someone who has a history of success and thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment, as well as can create thoughtful, long-term strategies for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • To cultivate doctor relationships as well as attorneys (preferably PI attorneys)
  • Actively sell and promote clinical benefits of surgery centers and build strong, positive relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts
  • Synergize and introduce doctors of different specialties to one another
  • Synergize and introduce doctors and attorneys to one another
  • Increase patient volume by calling on the book of business to identify potential sales opportunities
  • Bring in doctors for tours at the surgery center make introductions and ultimately have them bring their work to the surgery center.
  • Educate surgeons and appropriate staff personnel about the business model, contracting, credentialing, and potential business processes
  • Keep upper management informed of sales and on-boarding progress on a regular basis
  • Put together events, such as small cocktail parties, dinners and/or lunch at an office, where they will introduce people to one another

Qualification Requirements:

  • Candidate should have immediate access to set up meetings with surgeons of all specialties
  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred; an advanced degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience in the healthcare industry is a must
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communicative skills
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and ability to travel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
