Job Title: Tax Manager / Accounting

Location of role: Deerfield, IL 60015 role is Hybrid 2 days a week onsite

Salary range: 140K to $150K Depending on experience DOE

Duration of role: Direct hire Role - Fulltime

Key Points of the role REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years of overall experience in tax, use of complex spreadsheets, accounting, and tax systems
• Experience with tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax planning services, global corporate tax, compliance, tax research, VAT, property, and sales and use tax.
• Strong ASC740 tax accounting skills, including acquisition accounting, federal and state income tax background, awareness of international tax
• Experience building efficient tax consolidation processes, decentralized multinational organizations
• M&A post acquisition income tax process integration,
• Any experience working in a national CPA tax firm or private equity backed middle-market manufacturing company (preferred but not required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, or related field

SUMMARY:

Tax Manager will take the lead in developing and executing the vision for the tax operations and strategy of a high growth, acquisitive, decentralized organization. Will oversee all tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax planning services, all global corporate tax matters, including tax compliance, tax research, VAT, property, and sales and use tax.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute a vision for the tax operations and strategy of the Company, manage the relationship with external auditors and third-party tax service provider
• Identify, analyze, and implement tax planning opportunities to optimize cash tax and coordinate efforts with external tax advisors
• Oversight of the tax returns for the Company's international subsidiaries and coordination of accounting for income taxes with external tax advisors

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
