Full Job Description

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for the supervision of our team to ensure all requirements are met.

What You Will Do:

• Oversee both receiving inbound and preparing outbound shipments, in addition to recording and keeping track per requirements.
• Direct the team to ensure they maintain and organize warehouse space, storing inventory items and maintaining sample bins in an orderly and accessible manner.
• Oversee packing and unpacking of shipments, conducting inventory checks of items.
• Supervise the operations involved with preparing and shipping samples and orders as needed.
• Train employees on the operation of various warehouse equipment and various processes and procedures.
• Responsible for evaluating, team members.
• Manage warehouse materials budget, e.g. shipping cartons, supplies, racks, etc
• Work with customers on any shipping/receiving discrepancies and related billings.
• Manage freight claims and carrier issues
• Manage and negotiate freight agreements.
• Ensure safety measures and policies are enforced.
• Can operate all warehouse machinery, e.g. tow motor, lift
• Knowladge in cross docking operation and services.
• Works closely with purchasing, finance, and marketing

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years previous Warehouse Operations Management experience.
• Ability to adjust to a flexible working environment
• Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example
• Complete understanding of warehouse optimization practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,168.00 - $67,660.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
