JOB DESCRIPTION
CFS has partnered with a non-profit organization looking to bring onto their team an Accounting Intern for the Summer 2023 semester. This Boston-based, nation-wide organization is focused on improving lives within each community they serve in 44 US states. This is a mission-drive office that has a friendly office atmosphere but still works hard to serve their program participants.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Intern:
  • Review the reimbursement of invoices
  • Receive confirmation that that costs associated with monthly requests have proper documentation
  • Create weekly reports for each mentoring site
  • Support the Financial Grant Managers on preparation of quarterly reports
  • Ad hoc projects as necessary
Background Expected of the Accounting Intern:
  • Candidate should be a sophomore, junior, or senior in a four-year Accounting or Finance Bachelor's degree program
  • Other internship experience is a plus but not required
