Quality Fleet Service is looking for a “Hands On” Accounting Manager to maintain our organization's daily accounting operations. Based in South Hadley, MA, Quality Fleet Service is a fast paced and steadily growing heavy equipment dealer and the area’s leading authorized repair facility for diesel engines. We service and repair a wide variety of on and off-road equipment including specialized forest machinery and utility equipment that maintain our regional and national power grid. Responsibilities for this roll include daily maintenance of the company General Ledger, Key member of our improvement team to streamline accounting functions in line with industry best practices and to help guide future strategic financial decisions. Accounting Manager position key requirements:

• Take ownership of month and quarterly close processes.
• Manage and oversee the AP and AR teams, prepare/post journal entries to general ledger for those activities.
• Asist in current and future projects, systems initiatives and improvements, operational process improvements.
• Budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis.
• Produce financial statements, provide analysis, and appropriate reporting.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Experience with ERP/CRM tools and accounting software.
• Ability to grow into a Controller / CFO role.
• Auditing experience.
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Heavy QuickBooks experience.
• Team player with great communication and interpersonal skills.
