THE FOCUS IS YOU:

Administrative Assistant position available supporting UHY LLP, a fast-growing, public accounting firm. Become part of a high functioning agile team that supports a dynamic organization. Qualified candidates will be able to field numerous requests under deadline and still uphold high standards when producing your work. The is a full-time position that does not currently offer a remote schedule.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Maintain professional licenses for CPAs and business permits
  • Maintain CPE records
  • Maintains professional registrations for firm accountants
  • Book Firm Travel
  • Prepare Financial Statements, SOC, and SAS reports for client delivery
  • Administrative support to Partners

Cross Training

  • Reception desk
  • Tax Assembly in Production Department

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Ability to edit documents as need.
  • Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others.
  • Work Prioritization- Able to prioritize multiple requests to meet the demands of business and provide timely feedback.
  • Communicating effectively as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Teamwork – Ability to function within a group of co-workers and learn to work with diverse types of people. Willingness to be cross trained outside of primary role to support business demands as needed.
  • Initiative-taking approach to forecast potential problems and suggest solutions.
  • Confidentiality – Ability to keep client and employee information confidential. Always communicate respectfully.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Education and Experience

  • Preferably 3-5 years previous work experience as an administrative assistant in a corporate setting
  • Previous experience in an accounting or financial firm desirable but not required
  • Expert level knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects under deadline
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Comfortable working with all levels of staff & management
