About the Job

We are seeking an energetic and talented Technology Sales Professional for the Harrisburg Capitol region and surrounding areas. The individual will prospect for, negotiate, and close new business through consultation and presentation of technology solutions to include Video Surveillance (CCTV), Audio Visual Systems, Building Access Control, Data Network Cabling Infrastructure, Cellular Signal Boosting, and other Low Voltage Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business activity.
• Develop business relationships with industry professionals through networking.
• Develop sales strategies and effectively articulate Company’s value proposition to prospective clients.
• Act on leads provided by Sales Manager, Vendors, and other sources.
• Interpret and respond to bids, RFP’s, Technical Specifications and Drawings.
• Meet with prospect to understand needs, complete detailed site surveys, document prospect’s requirements, special instructions, and conditions.
• Deliver proposals, effectively communicate features and benefits to prospect/customer.
• Negotiates and close business deals.
• Maintains in-depth technical knowledge of the service and solution offerings of the company.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of business-to-business sales of technology products and services.
• Track record of successful prospecting, development of client relationships, management of sales cycles, negotiation and closing sales.
• Working knowledge of system and industry technology.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, multi-task, and adapt to changes quickly.
• Strong math skills.
• A strong ability for continual learning.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
