In your role, you will:

• Provide technical support for the maintenance and airworthiness of a range of flight test aircraft
• Troubleshoot aircraft issues to resolution
• Disposition aircraft snags and provide clearance for continued flight operations
• Author and release restrictions or special instructions associated with aircraft issues
• Generate engineering to support aircraft configuration changes and upgrades
• Develop and maintain maintenance plans for the flight test aircraft fleet
• Monitor in-service airworthiness documentation and determine the effectivity and require action on the flight test aircraft
• Support active tests on both aircraft and test rigs
• Analyze ground and flight test data to verify system performance and functionality
• Support internal and external design reviews and program governance sessions
• Some travel may be required

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You will have a minimum of ten years’ experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
• You must be familiar with Bombardier Aviation’s product line
• You will have an extensive aircraft troubleshooting background
• You will have a working knowledge of FAA, TCCA and EASA Part 25 certification requirements
• You will have a working knowledge of system safety processes.
• You must have the ability to interpret software documentation including logic diagrams
• You will be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access).
• You must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You will demonstrate interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, management, and suppliers.
• You must be self-motivated and be able to coordinate multiple activities and manage time effectively.
• You must be authorized to work in the US
