Open Workshop for Architecture [OWA] is a Tampa-based architecture firm that offers a creative and collaborative work environment with a diverse portfolio of work that seeks to be meaningful in every detail. Project types include high-end residential (both single-family & multifamily), commercial, hospitality, aviation, cultural and interior architecture.
We are currently seeking a Project Manager with significant experience in the production and coordination of contract documents and is highly proficient in Revit. The focus of this position is to provide design support, produce high-quality construction documents with thorough detailing and notation skills, and manage external consultants through all phases of the design process to ensure the drawings are properly coordinated. The Project Management role will be designated to a confident professional who is a diligent and creative problem solver and can serve as a valuable member of OWA's collaborative and congenial work environment.
Requirements & Responsibilities
· Minimum 7 years’ experience
· Minimum of a Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited school
· Highly proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
· Strong working knowledge of building codes, municipal codes and building construction
· Experience managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultants
· Understanding of how buildings are constructed and ability to create technical documents that thoroughly and accurately describe the scope of work and design intent
· Ability to consistently meet deadlines and deliver
· Strong leadership, organizational, and relationship management skills
· Strong communication skills
· Mentor and grow junior staff team members
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
